Organizes ushers' activities. (This will be handled by lead usher, but
should be understood by best man and groom) |

Organizes bachelor party for groom. (Groom believes that this is not
necessary). |

Drives groom to ceremony site and sees that he is properly dressed before
the wedding. |

Arrives dressed at ceremony site 1 hour before the wedding for
photographs. |
|
Brings marriage license to wedding. (Since best man does not live in
Colorado, we'll probably delegate this task to someone else.) |

Pays the clergyman, musicians, photographer, and any other service
providers the day of the wedding. (Since we have a wedding coordinator, we
may provide the tip envelopes to her instead - stay tuned.) |

Witnesses the signing of the marriage license. |

Drives the newlyweds to the reception if no hired driver. (We'll all walk
the few yards instead.) |
|
Offers the first toast at the reception. |
|
Keeps the groom on schedule. |
|
Dances with the maid of honor during the bridal party dance. |
|
Oversees the return of the tuxedo rentals for groom and ushers, on time
and in good condition. (In this case they will be kilts, and we will
provide a list of those who rented. All men in the wedding party will be
renting kilts.) |
